Brackets is an Open-Source editor for Web design and development built on top of Web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

The project was created and is maintained by Adobe, and is released under an MIT License.

Brackets comes with a Live Preview function which, when enabled, will open the current document in your web browser.

JS Debugging with Theseus. Theseus makes inspecting variables and control flow easy, even in asynchronous code.

Over the last few sprints we’ve made progress on Linux (Debian/Ubuntu) support for Brackets.
